What's New Gallery exhibits Photo Contests: Community Art Show Series   Photography Show: May 3- May 11 Middletown Arts Center Exhibit Hours Monday-Friday 3p.m. — 8p.m. Saturday - 10:00a.m. — 4:00p.m. Sunday - 11 a.m. — 2:00 p.m. Award Reception Sunday, May 4 at 2:00p.m. The Photography Show is part of the new Community Art Show series presented by the Middletown Township Cultural and Arts Council and the Middletown Township Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs. Still to come.... the Amateur Art Show from May 31- June 8 All shows will be held at the Middletown Arts Center. Entry forms are available at the Arts Center and at the Parks and Recreation Office, Croydon Hall. Location Middletown Arts Center 36 Church Street Middletown, NJ 07748 Directions: TRAVELING FROM THE SOUTH ON THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY TO EXIT 114 • Go through the toll plaza. Make a right hand turn at the traffic light onto Red Hill Road. • Follow Red Hill Road to the end, making a right hand turn onto Kings Highway. • Make the second right onto Church Street. There is a church on the corner. • The site will be on your left. Parking is available at the metered lot directly across from the site and in the main lot located across the tracks on your left. FROM STATE HIGHWAY 35: • Kings Highway is accessible from the southbound side of Highway 35. Sears and Wendy’s are located on the corner. • After turning onto Kings Highway, you will go past the first traffic light (where Kings Highway intersects with Red Hill Road). • Make your second right onto Church Street. There is a church on the corner. • Parking is available at the metered lot directly across from the site and in the main lot located across the tracks on your left. Photo Exhibit Opportunity - Rahway Savings Institute (RSI) located in Pier Village, 52 Centennial Drive in Long Branch, NJ is a small bank that looks for local artists to exhibit their work.   They are located near the center, grassy knoll at Pier Village, behind "The Rocky Road Chocolate Factory" & across from the restaurant, "It's Greek to Me".   They have a good hanging system with hooks you adjust with a "L shaped", hollow screw key size 1/8".  Depending on size & use of plastic string you may hang 20- 25 art works or just 12 pieces using their hanging system.  It's worth a trip to see the set-up.   CONTACT:  Vincent,  General Mgr.,  or Brian, Ass't Mgr., at 732-263-1400 HOURS: Mon - Thurs. 9am to 5pm,                  Fri. 9am - 7pm                 Sat. 9am - 3pm,                  Sun. 11am - 3pm.
